Now you see Grand Observant in his entire non-Observant glory. This is how Grand is supposed to look. Incidentally there's a spoiler there but shhh.

I'm almost done with that interlude anyway...

Grand ironically several thousand million trillion or whatever years ago forgot what he looked like. See his children turned into this giant eyeball ghosts, and Grand decided to take their form as a way to help his slowly growing Council of Observants.

A sign of solidarity if you will.

After thousands of millions of trillions of years he just got stuck. He couldn't remember what he REALLY looked like anymore, and he was used to this one-eyed illusion form...

Well, Clockwork's been trying for years to remind Grand what he looks...which is the above image here. If he does, well, that'll be seen in an interlude between DC chapters You'll have to wait and see~
